Personally I do not use a straight bar for bench pressing. I use a football bar. However for everyone else this is great information for bench pressing. Also a lot better for shoulder health then the way most people bench press. Pressing dumbbells vertically is also a great way to warm up for bench pressing. Be smart and never press through a strain or soreness. Listen to your body an be smart and you will not get an injury. Put your ego away for something other then lifting.
